Construct-A-SafeGate

Not only does it meet the US and Canadian Safety Standards, the Qdos® Construct-A-SafeGate meets the stringent European Standard that is much tougher.
Fits large openings from 35.4” up to 82.7" with included sections: 1 Door and 2 Long Sections. Additional sections and extra doors are available for customization to block large or unusual openings, or to create a freestanding play yard enclosure.
Strong and sturdy construction with hardware mounting ensures peace of mind, while offering flexibility to fit many different needs.
Secure, anti-skid floor safe silicone pads reduce movement and scratching of floors.
Available in White or Slate. Short (8"), Long (23.5"), and an Extra Door (31.5") Extensions available. Gate height: 29.5”.

+ Can this baby gate be extended in a straight line?

Yes. The Construct-A-SafeGate can be configured into any shape you need, including in a straight line.

+ Is it difficult to remove?

You can temporarily remove the Construct-A-SafeGate is installed. It’s simple to remove, there is no need to unscrew.

+ Can I add on to this gate?

Yes. Both extra extensions and extra doors are readily available to make the gate of your dreams.

+ Can I use the Construct-A-SafeGate to make an enclosed play area?

Yes you can but, you will need extra extensions. With extra extensions you can create an enclosure of any size you want.

+ How far away from a fireplace or a wood stove do I need to keep the gate to be safe?

A safe distance is 30” away from the flame or direct heat source.

+ How is this mounted to the wall? Does this gate have to be screwed in?

Yes, the Construct-A-SafeGate does need to be screwed in to the wall. If it is being configured into a freestanding play yard, it doesn't need to be screwed into a wall.

+ Can this baby gate be used outside?

No, all Qdos Baby Gates are designed to be used indoors only.
